Abstract text - limited to 300 words, including acknowledgements.
Type in Arial font 11. The file name must not include any names of authors or organisations. Please use up to the first 5 words of the title of your abstract as the file name.
Abstracts should clearly state:
Background and aims
Methods
Results
Conclusions
Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears the first time.
Use of generic names of drugs. Express numbers and numerals.
Tables - A maximum of 3 tables of up to 10 rows x 10 columns can be included per abstract. Tables should be included in the Microsoft Word template.
Graphs and Images - A maximum of 2 images can be included per abstract. Graphs and Images should be included in the Microsoft Word template.
