Carmel Carrigan

Carmel Carrigan has 35 years nursing experience including 27 years’ experience in midwifery, women’s health and infertility care with a commitment to providing outstanding women’s health care services in the private sector.   

She completed her General Nursing training at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane in 1987, later gaining Midwifery Endorsement in 1989 at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane.  

Carmel attended the Queensland University of Technology graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing (Post grad) in 1994. 

Carmel has extensive experience in nursing leadership predominantly as a Director of Nursing in the area of infertility. Carmel has a special interest in third party reproduction, quality management, nursing research and nurse education.
